- 1/2 lb. dry cottage cheese
- 2 c. flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 large onion
- 1 stick butter
Directions

1Put cheese in bowl, add egg and mix well.

2Add flour and salt. Knead until smooth and hands come clean.

3May have to add a little extra flour.

4Drop by teaspoonful in boiling water.

5Cook until they come to top or until tender (about 10 minutes).

6Drain.

7Fry onions in butter and pour over cheese balls and serve.
