- 12 oz. New York sharp cheese
- 1 1/4 sticks oleo
- 2 c. plain flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. red pepper (you may add more if you like them hot)
- 1/2 c. pecans
Directions

1Grate cheese and mix with oleo.

2Sift flour, salt and pepper together.

3Blend cheese and oleo mixture with sifted dry ingredients (makes firm dough).

4Roll into small balls about the size of a walnut.

5Press down thin; bake 10 minutes at 450°. Remove from oven.

6Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

7Top with pecan half.
