- 1 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 3/4 sticks margarine (room temperature)
- 2 c. flour
- 1/8 tsp. red pepper
- 2 c. Rice Krispies (optional)
Directions

1Mix flour, pepper and cheese; cut in butter using pastry cutter.

2Mix with hand until it becomes stiff dough.

3Mix in 2 cups Rice Krispies.

4Chill overnight; work with small amount of dough, about size of baseball.

5Roll to 1/4 inch or less.

6Press pecan on top of each biscuit.

7Bake at 300° about 15 or 20 minutes; watch carefully!
