  • 4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of cayenne pepper
  • 1 lb. sharp cheese, grated
  • 3/4 c. margarine

    Sift dry ingredients.

    Mix grated cheese and margarine together.

    Add dry ingredients to cheese mixture.

    Dough will be very stiff.

    Roll about 1/4-inch thick and cut into small biscuits.

    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325° for 25 minutes or until done, but do not brown.

    Makes about 125 small biscuits.
