- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 4 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces, chilled
- 1 cup shredded extra sharp Cheddar cheese
- About 2/3 cup of milk
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

2In a food processor mix the flour, mustard, salt and baking powder.

3Add the butter and process until the butter is pebble in sized pieces.

4Add the cheese and process.

5Add almost all of the milk and process until it comes together in a soft dough; do not overprocess.

6If dough is dry, add more milk.

7Pat the dough out to 1/2inch thickness.

8Cut into square shaped biscuits or with a cutter or glass cut into 2 1/2-inch rounds.

9Set on a baking sheet and bake for 15 to 17 minutes.
