- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 lb. New York State cheese, grated
- 2 c. sifted flour (maybe a little more)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper
- paprika
- pecan halves
Directions

1Cream together margarine and N. Y. State cheese; set aside. In the meantime, combine and mix together flour, salt, baking powder, red pepper and sift all together.

2Mix this together with margarine and cheese until a smooth dough is formed.

3Roll out dough to desired thickness.

4Sprinkle paprika on top. Use wax paper on top and press in pecan half.

5Bake at 325° for 20 minutes.

6Take out before real brown.

7Cool before removing from pan.

8Makes about 75 small biscuits.
