- 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut broccoli
- 1 c. frozen small whole onions
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. skim milk
- 2 oz. Neufchatel cheese
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Remove tough part of broccoli stalks.

2Cut fresh broccoli lengthwise into uniform spears.

3Cut off buds and set aside.

4Cut remaining broccoli into 1-inch pieces.

5In medium covered saucepan, cook the stalk pieces of broccoli in boiling water for 10 to 12 minutes, or just until tender.

6Add broccoli buds the last 5 minutes of cooking.

7(Cook frozen broccoli according to package; drain well.)
