Cheese Chicken Bake

  • 1 (3 oz.) can Swanson chunk chicken
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • pepper
  • 3 c. cooked elbow macaroni (1 1/2 c. uncooked)

Directions

    In 2-quart saucepan in hot margarine, cook onion until tender. Stir in milk and pepper until smooth.

    Add macaroni and cheese and chicken (save 1/4 cup cheese).

    Pour in 1 1/2-quart casserole pan and bake.

    Melt remaining cheese on top.
