- 3 1/2 lb. boned chuck roast (2-inches thick)
- 6 medium potatoes, peeled and halved
- 4 carrots
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- paprika
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Trim fat from meat.

2Cut roast into chunks.

3Place in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

4Roast at 350° for 1 hour.

5Drain fat from meat. Add potatoes and carrots.

6Combine chives and soup.

7Pour over meat and vegetables.

8Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours.

9Sprinkle with cheese and paprika.

10Bake a few minutes until cheese melts.
