- 14 cup butter, soft
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated (about 1/4 lb. per cup )
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch cayenne
- 12 cup crisp rice cereal
- 12 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
Directions

1Mix butter, cheese, salt, and cayenne together.

2Crush rice cereal with a rolling pin.

3Add cereal and flour to the butter mixture; blend well.

4Shape in small balls ( about 1 tsp for each ) .

5Place on ungreased baking sheet; flatten with a floured fork.

6Bake in a moderate oven ( 375 F ) for 8 to 12 minutes.

7Cool.

8Makes about 2-1/2 dozen crisps.
