Cheese Cubes

  • 1 lb. margarine
  • 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 8 egg whites
  • 1 large loaf French bread

Directions

    Mix over low heat in a heavy pan the margarine, cheese and cream cheese.

    When cheeses are melted and all mixed together, turn heat off.

    Beat egg whites until stiff.

    Fold into cheese mixture.

    Cube French bread into 1-inch cubes.

    Line a cookie sheet with foil.

    With tongs, dip bread cubes in cheese mixture. Place single layer on foil.

    Freeze them in a plastic bag and keep frozen.

    Bake on foiled lined pan at 400° for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve.
