  • 1 can condensed milk
  • milk equal to the amount of condensed milk
  • 1 package queso fresco
  • 5 eggs
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 drops lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.

    Heat the sugar, water, and lemon together in a saucepan until a caramel sauce is formed. Reserve a small amount and coat the bottom of a flan mold with the rest. Drizzle the reserved caramel sauce onto parchment paper to form decorations.

    Combine the condensed and regular milk with the crumbled cheese and add the eggs. Pour into the caramelized mold and set in the oven in a water bath. Bake until firm.

    Remove from the oven and let cool before removing from the mold. Place the caramel decorations on top before serving.
