- 5 c. processed Swiss cheese
- 2 c. water
- 1 c. Sauterne (Chablis) wine
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. Accent
- dash of white pepper
- dash of nutmeg
Directions

1Grate cheese.

2Bring water, wine, butter and seasonings to a boil.

3Add cheese and set into double boiler.

4(Use stainless steel or ceramic pot.)

5Stir thoroughly with wooden spoon until cheese melts into a smooth, heavy sauce.

6If fondue seems too thick, add more wine; if too thin, add more cheese.

7Dice rye or French bread into 2-inch squares and brown lightly in oven.

8Use for fondue.

9You must have double boiler or cheese will burn.
