- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 10 oz. extra sharp cheese
- 1 lb. elbow noodles
- crushed crackers
Directions

1Melt 2 tablespoons of butter.

2Add flour and cook until smooth.

3Add milk; cook until thick, stirring constantly.

4Add diced cheese when sauce begins to thicken.

5Boil water for noodles; add salt.

6After noodles are cooked, remove and drain; put in buttered dish.

7Add melted cheese sauce to macaroni and sprinkle with crushed crackers.

8Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
