Cheese Pepper Bread

- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/4 c. hot tap water
- 2 1/3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Grease 2 one pound coffee cans.

2Dissolve yeast in hot water; add 1 1/3 cups flour, sugar, salt, soda, sour cream and egg. Blend 1/2 minute on low speed.

3Beat 2 minutes on high.

4Stir in rest of flour, cheese and pepper.

5Split batter; put in warm place.

6Let rise for about 1 hour.

7Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
