- 1 1/2 lb. cottage cheese (sieve to make smooth)
- 5 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 (10-inch) pie shell
Directions

1Line a pie pan with pastry (one 10-inch or two 8-inch).

2Beat eggs and sugar.

3Continue beating until light.

4Add remaining ingredients.

5Beat well and strain.

6Pour into pie shell.

7Bake at 350° for 60 minutes, until center is firm.

8Turn off oven, open door and let stand in oven for 60 minutes.
