Cheese-Potato Casserole

- 6 medium potatoes, washed (not peeled)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. grated cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 3 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 3/4 c. milk
Directions

1Slice potatoes thinly.

2Layer in greased 2-quart casserole dish:

3half of potato slices, seasonings, grated cheese and soup. Dot with half of butter.

4Make another layer of potatoes, seasonings and soup.

5Dot with remaining butter.

6Fill soup can with milk; pour over top of casserole.

7Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.

8Remove cover; sprinkle on remaining cheese.

9Return to oven until cheese melts.

10Makes 6 to 8 servings.
