  • 5 slices bread
  • 1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese
  • 3 eggs, beat whole
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard

    Butter bread lightly and pull apart.

    Layer bread and cheese in baking dish (9 x 13-inches or 2 1/2 to 3-quart).

    Mix eggs, milk, salt and mustard.

    Refrigerate overnight.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes over water.
