- 1 c. grated Swiss cheese
- 1 (8-inch) partially baked pie shell
- 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 c. milk
- 10 to 12 oz. frozen spinach, thawed and drained
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- pinch each of pepper and nutmeg
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Spread 3/4 cup of the cheese in the bottom of the shell.

2Beat milk, eggs and seasonings in a bowl to blend.

3Just before baking, spread the drained spinach on the cheese.

4Pour liquid to fill the shell to within 1/8-inch of the top.

5Sprinkle on the remaining cheese and the butter.

6Cut into dots.

7Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
