  • 6 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 chopped celery stalks
  • 1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. fruity wine
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Saute over low heat onions, garlic and celery in a large saucepan.

    Add flour and blend.

    Add cheese, wine and milk; stir often.

    Heat; but do not boil.
