- 1 loaf French or Italian bread
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Directions

1Remove the crust from bread and cut into 1-inch squares.

2In a double boiler, melt cheese and butter.

3When creamy, fold in egg whites.

4Dip cubes into mixture.

5Place on waxed paper-lined cookie sheet and freeze.

6When frozen, place in plastic bag and store in freezer.

7To serve, bake at 350° for 8 minutes.
