Ingredients

  • 3 slices bacon, crumbled
  • 1 lb. American processed cheese (Velveeta)
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 2 drops Tabasco sauce
  • 3 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped pimento

Directions

    Place cheese between 2 pieces of waxed paper and use rolling pin to flatten to 12 x 6-inch rectangle.

    Set aside.

    Blend Tabasco sauce and mustard into cream cheese.

    Remove top layer of waxed paper from American cheese and spread cream cheese mixture over processed cheese.

    Sprinkle bacon, onion and pimento over cheeses.

    Fold longest side of cheese 2-inches over the middle with cream cheese mixture in the center.

    Fold remaining third of cheese toward the middle, forming a strip 12 x 2-inches.

    Cover and refrigerate.

    To serve, cut into thin strips; arrange on serving tray.

    Strips can be cut in half, if desired.
