- 1 lb. butter, softened
- 4 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- red pepper to taste
Directions

1Cream together cheese and butter.

2Sift in flour 1 cup at a time.

3Add salt and pepper.

4Press through cookie press into straw shapes.

5Bake at 400° until they begin to brown slightly.

6Remove with spatula onto wax paper and cool.
