  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine
  • 16 oz. frozen mixed veggies
  • 5 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 3 c. shredded Cheddar
  • 2 c. milk
  • salt & pepper

Directions

    Saute onion in margarine until soft.

    Add vegetables and cook until heated through.

    Remove from heat and add flour, stirring well to coat.

    Add chicken broth and heat through.

    Add cheese and stir until melted.

    Add milk and heat until just boiling.

    Serve with crusty Italian bread or your favorite crackers.
