Ingredients: pastry for 1 (9-inch) pie; 1 lb. ground beef; 1/2 tsp. oregano; 1 tsp. salt; 1/4 tsp. pepper; 1/4 c. chopped onion; 1/4 c. chopped green pepper (if desired); 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs; 4 oz. tomato sauce; Cheese Topping

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper (if desired)
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
4 oz. tomato sauce
Cheese Topping

Directions

Heat oven to 425°. Brown beef in small amount of fat. Mix in rest of ingredients, except topping. Spread in pastry-lined pie pan. Spread Cheese Topping over filling.

Bake about 30 minutes. Serve with sauce. (Sauce is remaining 4 ounces tomato sauce and 4 ounces chili sauce.)
