  • 1 loaf unsliced Italian bread
  • 8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, sliced
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder

Directions

    Melt margarine.

    Add Parmesan cheese and garlic powder.

    Slice bread almost all the way through in 1-inch slices.

    Brush margarine on both sides of bread.

    Slide a piece of Monterey Jack cheese into each bread crack.

    Bake on aluminum foil for 10 minutes at 450°.
