  • 2 bunches broccoli, cut into spears
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 12 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 200 g cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
  • 12 cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • 12 cup walnuts, chopped

Directions

    Steam the broccoli spears until they are crisp-tender.

    Melt butter in a saucepan.

    Add the flour and pepper and stir constantly for half a minute, until the mixture is smooth and bubbly.

    Add the milk and cream cheese.

    Stir constantly until the sauce thickens and reaches the boiling point.

    Keep stirring until the cheeses are melted.
