  • 1 (8 oz.) and 1 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, cubed
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 6 slices American cheese cut into small pieces
