- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz.)
- 1 c. soft breadcrumbs
- dash of nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cook cabbage in small amount of water until tender; drain well.

2Melt butter over low heat; add flour and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.

3Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly.
