- 34 cup dry nonfat dry milk powder
- 12 cup yellow cornmeal
- 2 cups water
- 1 14 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 3 large eggs, separated
- 2 tablespoons margarine or 2 tablespoons butter
- 14 teaspoon baking powder
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375F.

2Grease 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.

3Combine dry milk and corn meal in large saucepan.

4Stir in water.

5Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.

6Remove from heat.

7Stir in 3/4 cup cheese, egg yolks, margarine, and baking powder.

8Beat egg whites in small mixer bowl until stiff peaks form.

9Fold into corn meal mixture lightly but thoroughly.

10Pour into prepared dish.

11Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

12Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until top is golden and filling is set.
