"Cheezed" Potatoes

  • 4 cold boiled potatoes, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. bouillon

Directions

    Place top chafing pan in water jacket.

    Melt butter.

    Add onion and saute.

    Place layer of potatoes in pan.

    Add salt and cover potatoes with layer of cheese.

    Repeat layers until all are used.

    Pour the bouillon over this.

    Cover pan and cook slowly, 25 to 30 minutes, until cheese is melted and piping hot.

    Serve with salad or cold cuts.
