- 1 jar (10 oz.) maraschino cherries
- 1-3/4 cups flour
- 1-1/2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup mashed fully ripe bananas (about 3)
- 2/3 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts
Directions

1Heat oven to 350F.

2Drain maraschino cherries, reserving 2 Tbsp.

4Cut cherries into quarters; set aside.

5Combine next 3 ingredients.

6Mix eggs, butter, sugar and reserved cherry juice in medium bowl until blended.

7Add bananas; mix well.

8Add flour mixture; stir just until moistened.

9Stir in cherries and nuts.

10Pour into 9-inch square baking pan sprayed with cooking spray.

11Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
