- 1 broiler-fryer, cut up
- margarine for browning
- 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- 1/2 c. dry white wine
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. each: allspice, cloves and nutmeg (ground)
Directions

1In skillet brown chicken in margarine for 10 minutes on each side.

2Season with a little salt and pepper.

3Drain off excess margarine.

4Combine pie filling, wine, orange juice, brown sugar, salt and spices.

5Pour over browned chicken.

6Cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until chicken is tender.
