- 1/2 c. oleo or butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. flour
Directions

1Cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.

2Measure flour and sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt.

3Combine with first mixture along with sour cream.

4Spread half of batter in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan, greased and floured.

5On top of this spread 1 can Thank You cherry pie filling, then spread remaining batter over this.
