- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. broken saltines (not crumbs)
- 3/4 c. chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
- 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 pkg. Dream Whip
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Directions

1Beat egg whites until frothy, then add cream of tartar and sugar and beat until stiff.

2Add vanilla.

3Fold in saltines and nuts.

4Butter oblong dish or pan and bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until tan in color, then cool.

5Refrigerate if necessary.
