   Melt butter in 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan while preheating oven to 350°.

   baking pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix with nuts over cherries.

   Pour reserved melted butter over dry cake mix.

   Bake 40 minutes in a 350° oven.
