- 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 6 egg whites, beaten until frothy
- 2 c. Ritz crackers, crumbled (1 stack pack)
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 8 oz. Cool Whip
- 1 can cherry pie filling (21 oz.)
Directions

1Add sugar and cream of tartar gradually to egg whites.

2Beat until stiff.

3Fold in crackers.

4Add nuts and vanilla.

5Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan (glass pan looks nice) at 350° for 25 minutes.

6Cool. While cooling, will fall some.
