  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 can drained sour cherries
  • 1 c. juice of cherries
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 pt. cream, whipped
  • powdered sugar

    Combine flour, sugar, soda and salt.

    Add 1 beaten egg and chopped nuts.

    Bake at 350° for 35 minutes in a 9 x 12-inch pan. When cool, frost with 1 pint whipped cream with a little powdered sugar added.
