- 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. walnuts
- 1 (10 oz.) jar whole cherries
Directions

1Cream butter with sugar; add eggs.

2Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream and vanilla.

3Fold in cherries and nuts.

4(Don't chop nuts or cherries.)

5Bake in floured and greased tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes in 350° oven.

6Test with toothpick before removing from oven.
