  • 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. walnuts
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar whole cherries

Directions

    Cream butter with sugar; add eggs.

    Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream and vanilla.

    Fold in cherries and nuts.

    (Don't chop nuts or cherries.)

    Bake in floured and greased tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes in 350° oven.
