- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 can drained cherries (save the juice)
Directions

1Combine sugar, egg and pecans.

2Add dry ingredients, alternately, with milk.

3Fold in cherries.

4Pour batter into 8 inch pan and bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

5Cut into squares and serve with sauce.
