- 6 egg whites
- 3 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. crushed saltine crackers
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 large tub Cool Whip
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Directions

1Beat egg whites and cream of tartar.

2Add sugar and vanilla; beat until stiff.

3Fold in crushed crackers and pecans.

4Bake in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan at 325° for 25 minutes.

5Cool completely. Top with Cool Whip.

6Put filling over Cool Whip.

7Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
