  • 1/2 c. lard
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 c. sour milk (add 1 Tbsp. vinegar to milk)
  • 1 can Eagle Brand
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • flour
  • sour cherries, drain juice

Directions

    Put all ingredients in except the cherries.

    Add flour until mixture is cake like.

    Add amount of cherries you desire.

    Bake at 350° until golden brown.
