  • 2 eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. sour cherries

Directions

    Beat 2 eggs and pinch of salt until foamy.

    Beat in sugar, hot water, flour, baking powder and vanilla.

    Fold in sour cherries. Bake at 350° to 375° for 30 to 35 minutes in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
