- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. self-rising flour
- 3/4 c. milk
- 6 Tbsp. oleo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (16 oz.) can tart cherries, drained
Directions

1Melt oleo in 2-quart casserole dish.

2Grease sides and bottom. In separate bowl, mix sugar, flour, milk and vanilla. Add melted oleo.

3Stir well and pour back into greased casserole. Batter will be thin.

4Spoon cherries on top.

5Do not stir in.

6Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
