- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Directions

1Cream butter; gradually add sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Beat in flour and lemon juice.

4Spread batter into well-greased 10 x 15-inch jellyroll pan.

5With a knife, mark off dough into 20 squares.

6Place 1 heaping tablespoonful pie filling in center of each square.

7Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.

8Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
