- 1 can cherries
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- milk
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg, beaten
Directions

1Drain juice from cherries; set aside.

2Add 1 cup sugar to cherries and put in greased baking dish 9-inch square.

3Put oil in measuring cup; add egg and enough milk to make 1 cup.

4Mix with 1 cup sugar and dry ingredients.

5Pour over cherries in pan and bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
