  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. maraschino cherry juice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. chopped cherries
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Cream sugar, butter, eggs and juice together, then add to dry mixture. Then add chopped cherries and nuts. Place heaping teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet; top with cherry half. Bake at 375° for 12 minutes.
