- 1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 egg
- 1 box confectioner sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 3 eggs
- pinch of salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Directions

1Mix together margarine, cake mix, egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pat in bottom of 9 x 13-inch cake pan which has been sprayed with Pam.

2Cream together cream cheese and sugar.

3Add beaten eggs and mix thoroughly.

4Add salt and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

5Pour this mixture over cake mixture.

6Bake in 350° oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown on top.

7When cool, cut into squares.
