  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. meal
  • 1 c. sugar

Directions

    Cream butter with sugar and add well beaten yolks.

    Mix meal with milk and add to eggs.

    Add flavoring; stir until smooth and add whites, well beaten.

    Pour into pastry shell and bake in moderate oven at 350° until custard sets and crust is slightly browned.
