- 1 box dark brown sugar
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 2 sticks margarine or butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 to 2 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- as many nuts as you can afford
Directions

1Put first 3 ingredients into double boiler and stir while melting.

2Let it get warm, do not let it boil, then add flour, vanilla, salt, baking powder and nuts.

3Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
